J Model Grand Launch in Birmingham’s most popular night club Oceana last Saturday 14 March 09 was a big success. With a turnout of nearly 400 models, makeup artists, stylists, photographers, fashion designers, and the press from all over the UK, the event marked a wonderful beginning for J Model Management.

The highlight of the event was the very first J Fashion Show choreographed by K.Knight, known for his work with Girls Aloud, Emporio Armani, and MTV. 7 themes, namely Beachwear, Sports, Wedding, Party, Gothic, Funky Casual , and Asian Charm, were exclusively presented by 12 gorgeous male and female models from J Model Management.

The second part of the event, J Marathon Studio Shoot in 5 studios, provided models with an amazing experience of fast and effective shoots. After being professionally made up by J makeup artists, models followed a well-organised shooting order with 5 different J photographers and got their photos taken from various artistic angles. This new concept, implemented by Jessica Minh Anh, J Model Management director, is meant to help wannabe models spend much less money on a starting portfolio while widening their networks and learning from more experienced models. ‘I want to provide new models with an encouraging environment where they can get their inspiration from the fashion show and jump into shoots with full spirit.
